MODELING EMPOWERS WOMEN TO SEE THEMSELVES AS SKIN DEEP BEAUTIFUL. TAKING PHOTOS IS JUST ONE WAY TO EMBRACE ONE’S INNER AND OUTER BEAUTY. THIS PHOTO SHOOT WAS TAKEN WITH THE MESSAGE OF EMPOWERING ALL KINDS OF WOMEN TO ACCEPT THEMSELVES FOR THEIR FLAWS AND ALL.

TEACHING/MENTORING

TEACHING AND MENTORING IS A SKILL AND TOOL USED IN THIS CLUB TO ENCOURAGE NEW GENERATIONS THAT THEY CAN DO ADVOCACY WORK ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ESPECIALLY WITH THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA. THIS IS DR. MAGARDECHIAN’S #ADVERTISING2K16 UCLA CLASS FOR THE SUMMER DISCOVERY PROGRAM. THE BIGGEST PROJECT THAT WAS COMPLETED IN THIS CLASS WAS ADVOCATING FOR THE HOMELESS COMMUNITY, #THEGLOBALSTRUGGLE2K16.

HERE THE WAC ORGANIZATION GATHERED TO PROTEST AGAINST RAPE, MISOGYNY, HATE CRIMES, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND ANYTHING THAT IS SHAMING A WOMEN’S IDENTITY OR NAME. THIS EVENT TOOK PLACE IN DOWNTOWN LA AND WAS CALLED THE #SLUTWALK.

COMMUNITY SERVICE & CHARITY WORK

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Magardechian and Dr. Swim have been working collaboratively to bring to life, Now I See A Person Institute and Women’s Advocacy Club. These two charities go hand in hand. Why? Because they promote Collaborative Language Family Systems Therapy, also known as CLS. Dr. Magardechian has devoted her time personally pre and post graduate school to broadcast the benefits of equine assisted therapy by dedicating over 5,000 hours in charity/community service to victims of crime and trauma (#PROBonoStyle).
